Tasting Room Guidelines

To ensure a relaxing and unique experience for all our guests, we kindly request that you take a minute to read through our Tasting Room guidelines:

• We love food. We’re total foodies. In fact, we’re eating right now. Now that we have our restaurant license, it is not allowed under the health code to bring any outside food or drinks onto the property (this includes birthday/celebratory treats & desserts). We will, however, provide you with a daily menu upon request.

• While we love kiddos and have some offspring of our own, all visitors must be 21 years of age or older.
• The only thing with bark around here is the wood on our barrels. With the exception of certified service animals, we cannot accommodate personal pets or emotional support animals on property. Prior arrangements must be made in advance to accommodate certified service animals.
• The dress code is wine country casual. Shoes and shirts are required, but the good news is you can strip these off once you’re home to enjoy your recently purchased bottle of Shadowbrook Wine in the comfort of your home. You’ll be doing a lot of walking back and forth to the tasting bar, but don’t be misled. We’re not a gym. Please no gym attire, swimwear, sweats or cycling attire.

Weddings

Weddings are not allowed at Shadowbrook Winery as a condition of our use permit.

Donation Requests

Shadowbrook Winery receives a high number of requests for donations each year. In order for us to consider a request, the winery requires certain documentation to be retained on file. For any request for a donation of any kind to be considered it should be received at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of the event. Please fill-out the below form fully for consideration. We will make every effort to review your request prior to the date of the event.

• All requests must be accompanied by a formal request letter from the organization.
• Your organization’s registered Non-Profit Tax ID must be provided.
• Only one request per organization per calendar year will be considered.
• Please allow 2-4 weeks for requests to be processed.
• Organizations within Walnut Creek, CA will be considered
